1. Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for the following components:

  • Frame: Covered for up to 2 years from the date of purchase.
  • Electric Motor: Covered for up to 1 year from the date of purchase.
  • Battery: Covered for up to 1 year or 500 charge cycles, whichever comes first.
  • Controller and Display: Covered for up to 1 year.
  • Other Components (e.g., brakes, gears): Covered for up to 6 months.

2. Exclusions from Warranty

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., tires, brake pads, chains).
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or improper maintenance.
  • Unauthorized modifications or use of non-genuine parts.
  • Damage caused by water submersion or exposure beyond the product’s rated limits.
  • Commercial or rental use of the electric bicycle.
  • Cosmetic damages such as scratches, dents, or paint fading.

3. Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim, you must:

  • Provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice).
  • Provide the bicycle's serial number (located on the frame or as indicated in the user manual).
  • Describe the issue in detail and provide photos or videos if requested.
  • Contact our customer service team at info@ezyboda.com to start the process.

4. Repair or Replacement

If a covered defect is found, we will, at our discretion:

  • Repair the defective part(s).
  • Replace the defective part(s) with new or refurbished ones of equal or greater quality.
  • Replace the entire bicycle if repairs are not feasible.
  • Warranty repairs or replacements will be provided free of charge. However, the customer may be responsible for shipping costs to and from our service center.

5. Warranty Transferability

  • The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

6. Limitations of Liability

  • Our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective components.
  • We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product.
